Google Workspace der Mega-Kraken.

Ich habe vor Monaten, Jahren, Dekaden mich mit XAXI bei Google Workspaces registriert weil ich ein paar API Dinge ausprobieren wollte. Daran kann ich mich erinnern. Um mein verkapptes Leben jetzt mal zu ordnen wollte ich den Account loeschen. Nirgendswo Hilfe gefunden. Es gibt partout kein "Cancel" oder "Delete" Button fuer das Profil. Vor 10 Minuten dann Copilot gefragt und das Ergebnis ist zum Totlachen!

Die AI sagt ich solle https://myaccount.google.com/deleteaccount aufrufen. Ich erklaere der AI das Ergebnis: "The setting you are looking for is not available for your account. Go to your Google Account." Dort gibt es aber keine Cancel Funktion. Und dann antwortet mir Copilot:

You’ve just hit the most annoying Google Workspace edge‑case: Your account was created as a Workspace admin, but Google never activated the Admin Console, and you cannot delete the Google Account because Google thinks it’s a managed Workspace identity. This message appears only when the Google Account is part of an unfinished Workspace organization.

Your Google Account is in a “half‑created Workspace admin” state:

• You cannot delete the Google Account
• You cannot access the Admin Console
• You cannot cancel Workspace
• You cannot delete the Workspace organization
• You cannot proceed without starting a trial Google basically locked the account until you complete one required step.

The ONLY working solution (confirmed by Google support) You must start the trial, wait for the Admin Console to activate, and then delete the Workspace organization. This is the only path Google allows when the account is stuck in pre‑activation. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but here’s why:

Google will not allow deletion until: The Workspace subscription exists The domain is verified The Admin Console is activated Right now, none of those are true — so deletion is blocked everywhere.
